How could classrooms and schools work better for all students?
How can we structure them for success?
The Radford University TTAC in collaboration with the Virginia Tech TTAC would like to invite you to participate in a professional learning event designed to help educators set students up for success in schools.
TTACx is a professional development opportunity that will bring together outstanding educators from across southwest Virginia to reflect communally on challenges, exchange ideas, and seek inspiration from the people who know the students of SWVA the best - other educators. Modeled after TEDx to "uncover new ideas and to share the latest research in local areas that spark conversations in communities,” TTACx will share a series of thought provoking presentations by local teacher leaders who have a practice, strategy, or method they've found to be highly effective for priming students for learning. Presenters and participants will engage in round table discussions to think more deeply about presented ideas and challenges. This is designed to be an opportunity primarily for classroom teachers to collaborate, commune, and recharge with colleagues.
